Continuous monitoring of user activity is subject to local data protection laws and company specific regulations such as agreements between the company and the employee representation/works council.
To allow for data protection compliant monitoring remQ can be used in a data protection mode where checks do not write personal data to alert data (e.g. no usernames).
The data protection mode can be enabled by setting parameter DATA_PROTECTION to 1 (default=0).
