The remQ tool plugs into your SAP ERP or S/4HANA system, like a patch. No additional hardware or systems are required.
Probably you are using a 3-tier system landscape with development, test, and production. The development system can be used to define settings and own checks. Settings can be transported to other systems by download/upload. The test system should have data that is similar to the production data and can be used to verify settings and check performance. Trials of the tool are usually done in a test environment that has a copy of production data.
